Wildflowers

I love flowers of all types. At times when driving along a country road I will see beautiful wildflowers. When we were coming home from Colorado there was a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers on the side of the road they looked just like someone had put them there for me to see and enjoy as I pass by them. I every spring I plan tons of flower seeds all around my yard and all my neighbors always say how nice my yard looks. I take pictures of the flowers some with my cat siting under the dense array of flowers. I later take the pictures and study them on my computer until I have absorbed all the facts I can about the flowers then I sit down at my easel and start painting my beautiful flowers.

This spring I decided to plant vegetables instead of so many flowers. When I picked my first tomatoes, eggplant and radishes I had a totally new subject to paint. I was elated painting vegetables. I now have bell peppers, and herbs to paint along with flowers and shrubs. It is interesting what one can find to paint even when you have limited space.

Look for more to come with my paintings being added for your enjoyment. As I get better with this site I plan on adding links to other sites such as my store at CafePress.com and a few links to other friends online galleries.
